The Ski Week package includes meals and accommodation at the Southland Ski Lodge on Coronet Peak. NZSki provide lessons each day in week 1 and week 2 of the July School Holidays. Ski Weeks are an opportunity to upskill, have fun and meet new people from all over Southland. Ski Week applications are taken on a first-in first-served basis. The age requirement for ski week participants is 10 - 18 years and participants must still be attending school.
The Ski Week package has changed from previous years along with NZSki guidelines. Ski Week attendees are firstly required to book their lessons and ski passes through the NZSki website. Fees are to be paid direct to NZSki.
After this, Ski Week attendees are then required to fill out the Southland Ski Club online application. Fees are to be paid for accommodation and food directly to the Southland Ski Club.
To attend Ski Weeks, applicants MUST be signed up and undertake lessons with NZSki to attend Ski Weeks.
Please note that the ski week application form now includes a contingency plan should the ski-field be closed.
The Southland Ski Club Ski Weeks online application will be uploaded by mid May 2023. The fees for accommodation and food at the Southland Ski Club for week 1 and week 2 is $300 and will be invoiced in due course.
